Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls

Our next stop on this adventure was Niagara Falls on the Canadian side. The first one is the view of the American side of the Falls as seen from the Canadian side.

We had our tickets for the boat ride through the Falls. This is before we boarded the boat.

These next few were taken during the boat ride – which, by the way, Molly said felt like we were in a washing machine!!

I took this one with my camera under the rain poncho they gave us to wear. As you can see, they were very thin!!

And, after we got off the boat!!

We weren’t completely soaked, but pretty darned close!!

After we took a break for a little while and dried off, we went up and checked into our room in the Radisson Hotel. We could not have asked for a better view!!! Yes, this was the view from our room!! It was spectacular.

We had dinner in the restaurant in the hotel, which was quite delicious. Molly said this was the best Pina Colada she’d had in a very long time.

Then we headed out to watch the light show on the Falls, followed by a fireworks show. This the view of the American falls, hence the red, white, and blue.

Then to our right on the Canadian side, we have the Canadian flag; red, white, and red. I even thought the way the shadows played on the water that you could see the maple leaf of the flag.

This was followed by several different light schemes.

The light show was beautiful. Then around 930pm or so, they started the fireworks.
