I really have no idea why this never got posted. I guess I got distracted. Either way, this was a fun evening sitting in our garage in Fayetteville shooting a lightning storm.
Sometimes you just have to stand outside and take pictures of lightning!!
I started outside the back door and never got any direct strikes, but I got some interesting lighting shots. Then I moved to the front of the house and stood inside the garage.

Then the cloud line started moving out and stars began to twinkle.

The the moon peeked out from behind the clouds shining brightly.
< /hr>
The moon was high in the sky and clear, but down toward the horizon the cloud to cloud lightning was still flashing.

Seeing the moon in the stars and the lightning at the same time was very beautiful.
