It’s high time we introduce you to the newest member of our family. Meet Charlie!!

At first, we were really concerned about whether he would fit in or not. We were convinced he was nuts! He wouldn’t let us pet him, he was hissing and snarling at the dogs every time they even LOOKED at him.

He has started to settle down now. He hasn’t “made friends” with the dogs yet, but he gets closer to them than he would initially. He has started to let us hold him and is now purring loudly when we do. His coat is very soft! He picked up on using the litter box almost immediately and mastered the cat door in just a few minutes. Sometimes he sleeps in he bed, but more often than not he sleeps underneath the bed.

We got him a cat tree for scratching, and even bought some catnip to put on the tree to get him started. He has NOT mastered the cat tree yet. He has figured out he likes laying on the table in the living room underneath the plants though.

He really is a cutie. I do hope he gets to the point he likes the dogs and Tess.
