Last night we rode the Sandia Peak Tramway to the top of Sandia Peak to have dinner at the High Finance restaurant located on the top of Sandia Mountain. The Sandia Peak Tramway is an aerial tramway located adjacent to Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. It stretches from the northeast edge of the city to the crestline of the Sandia Mountains and has the world’s third longest single span.

We had a little bit of a wait to get on the tram, but once we did the views were spectacular.

The sunset was breathtaking! It was probably 15 degrees cooler when we got off the tram at the top of the mountain than it was when we boarded the tram at the bottom of the mountain. We enjoyed a nice dinner overlooking the sunset and it was really nice. After we finished dinner, I was able to get a picture of the city of Albuquerque as seen from the top of Sandia Mountain. Then we waited almost 90 minutes to catch the tram back down the mountain.
