I really have no idea why this never got posted. I guess I got distracted. Either way, this was a fun evening sitting in our garage in Fayetteville shooting a lightning storm.<\/p>\n

Sometimes you just have to stand outside and take pictures of lightning!!<\/p>\n

I started outside the back door and never got any direct strikes, but I got some interesting lighting shots.\u00a0<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Then I moved to the front of the house and stood inside the garage.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Then the cloud line started moving out and stars began to twinkle.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The the moon peeked out from behind the clouds shining brightly.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The moon was high in the sky and clear, but down toward the horizon the cloud to cloud lightning was still flashing.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
